FrontPage Extensions

If you use FrontPage to create your web site, you don't have to wait for your web host admin people to install the necessary extensions on the server for you, like you do with other web hosting companies. When you sign up for your 1-2-Wonder Hosting Package, you will be asked whether you want FrontPage extensions installed or not, and your package will be configured accordingly. However, if you change your mind about the extensions, installing and uninstalling FrontPage extensions is easy with your 1-2-Wonder Hosting cPanel Control Panel. Just go to the Control Panel and click a button.

Warning: Installing or uninstalling Frontpage Extensions will result in the loss of all ".htaccess" files in your web area.

Also, Microsoft is fussy about their products, especially FrontPage. If you use FrontPage to create and upload your site, then use any FTP program other than FrontPage to upload/publish any files to your web site, this will result in corrupted FrontPage extensions and files, and your web site will not be viewable online. Simply go to cPanel and reinstall your extensions to make everything work smoothly again.
